Civil Weddings...
A civil wedding will take place in the registry office, which is located in the Paphos Town Hall or Peyia Town Hall. The couple should be in Cyprus at least four working days before the wedding. Before the wedding you must apply for a Marriage License by submitting the following original documents to the Municipality:
Kindly note that the couple should bring with them the following:
Passports
Birth certificate
Freedom to marry (certificate)
Divorce certificate (if married before, Decree absolute)
Death Certificate - only in cases of widows/widowers
Wedding rings
Important Notes:
We need to receive copies of all documents at least four (4) weeks before the Wedding.
For any person under 21 years of age, written and signed permission from the parents is required.
All weddings will take place either at the town or any chosen church or chapel including the hotels chapel
Anglican Church Weddings...
A meeting will be arranged with the local priest to finalize details for your ceremony. All above-mentioned documents together with the Marriage Licence must be presented during your meeting.
Anglican Church Blessing...
All arrangements as mentioned above for Anglican weddings.
Catholic Church Weddings...
The Catholic Church of Paphos does not require a license from the Ministry of Interior however, they will require the following:
Birth Certificate
Certificate of Baptism
A certificate confirming that you are free to marry
If you are divorced you will need to bring an "allument" from your Parish
There are no fees to be paid, however, a donation to the Catholic Church will be welcomed.

Non-Resident Wedding & Church Blessing...
Please note that weddings or blessings can be arranged at the Azia Beach Hotel upon availability of the Chapel and taking into consideration that the Food & Beverage facilities of the Hotel will be used after the ceremony.
