	It was always Maria's ambition to open and run a quality jewellery shop, but the invasion in 1974 all but destroyed her hopes. However despite the problems of the times she finally realised her dream in 1978, opening her shop in the then small town of Pafos. Since that time, starting from very little and by working very hard, she has built a highly reputable business based on quality, fair prices and mutual trust. In 1998 her son Panayiotis joined the family business after his successful studies in Diamond Grading, Gemology and Jewellery Design at the Gemological Institute of America (the world's foremost authority in that field). And so today with over twenty five years of experience, knowledge, professionalism and new ideas, MARIA'S continues to create and present unique and beautiful jewels for your enjoyment.
