The company TECHNOTENT K. G. GYORGATSOS LTD was founded in 1977 by Mr. KOSTAS G. GYORGATSOS with the aim of manufacturing, importing and trading all types of awnings, importing and trading outdoor items (such as garden furniture, cushions and umbrellas), as well as producing various awning construction materials which it sells at wholesale prices on the market.

Having recorded a remarkable upward trajectory from 1977 to the present day, it has achieved a dominant position among the companies in the sector. TECHNOTENT K. G. GYORGATSOS LTD has consistently followed a medium-long-term business formation within the framework of which bold investment initiatives were included for their time, such as the creation of privately owned facilities in 1980 in Paralimni, which has exhibition, factory and storage spaces, and the expansion of the company to Nicosia in 1993, with Mr. GEORGE K. GYORGATSOS as director.

Since 2004, TECHNOTENT K. G. GYORGATSOS LTD has entered a new phase of its history with the expansion of its activities to the Greek market under the brand name TECHNOTENT K. G. GYORGATSOS & CO., responding to the challenges of the ever-changing business environment in both the Greek and the broader Mediterranean market.

It imports and manufactures all types of awnings for sale and rental for sports venues, social and professional events, wedding receptions and baptisms through its offices and stores in Paralimni, Nicosia and Athens.

It is the exclusive representative for Cyprus and Greece of Marquees – Gazebo awnings Sprech & Maker of Italy, CHF & Markilux Awning Systems, Swela Awnings of Germany and the representative of Somfy electric motors – automations of France. Also as exclusive importers of furniture from foreign companies.
